Ryo no Kage (龍の影) is an Uji matcha from Kanbayashi Shunsho, a historic Japanese tea house with a long tradition of tea craftsmanship in Uji, Kyoto.

Designed to be enjoyed as usucha (thin tea), Ryo no Kage has a light, refreshing and approachable character. It offers a pleasant balance of umami and gentle bitterness, with a smooth mouthfeel and clean finish.

How to Prepare

Usucha – Traditional Matcha｜薄茶

Sift approximately 2g of matcha into a bowl. Add 60–70ml of water at around 70–80°C. Whisk briskly in a “W” motion until smooth with a fine layer of foam.
